This is part two of two of our analysis of the murder of six-year-old John Bonae Ramsey, who was found dead in her Boulder, Colorado home on December 26, 1996.

In part one, we went over the case facts, took a detailed look at the crime scene, and discussed some key findings from the autopsy.

We wrapped up last episode as Bob was sharing some relevant studies that might shed light on the aspects of this case.

There's another study by a guy named Grubin.

He did his in 1994, but it's been cited numerous times since, that says that sexual homicide

offenders, most to half of them, have prior convictions for sex offenses. I would assume that

that is lower with child abuse because convictions and child

abuse are sadly lower than adult sexual assault convictions. But again, it's still a great

deal of them. It would be worth it to look at any potential suspects in this case and see if they

have had at least investigations into some sort of sexual

misconduct because it's as likely as not that they have. Whoever did this had. Maybe the final

charge would not involve sexual misconduct, but the investigation would reveal that initially they were

considering those types of charges and a plea deal resulted in something less, which happens

very often.

Such as endangering the welfare of a child or a sexual assault reduced to simple assault
