Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump face off for the first time in a high stakes presidential debate tomorrow.

One source tells CNN the Harris campaign hopes to use the debate as an opportunity to introduce

the Vice President to undecided voters.

Sources close to the campaign say Harris's team is preparing her to stay focused on policy issues and

vision to reach those persuadable voters.

Meanwhile, the Trump campaign previewed attacks that the former president will likely take during the debate.

In a call with reporters today, Trump's campaign spokesperson Jason Miller claimed Harris has been the one in charge of the country, not President Joe Biden.

You can't talk about turning the page when you're the one who created our current nightmare.

Miller said Trump has been preparing for the debate through interviews, news conferences, rally speeches, and town halls.

Actor James Earl Jones died this morning, according to his agent, the iconic voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars franchise and Mufasa

and the Lion King was 93. Jones was just the second African American man to be

nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor.

That was for his work in 1970s The Great White Hope.

Over the course of his distinguished 60-some-year career,

Jones eventually achieved EGOT status, winning an Emmy, Grammy, and Tony, in addition to the Oscar.

He was also the voice of CNN for many years.

The Israeli military has detained a convoy of United Nations vehicles in Northern Gaza.

According to a statement, Israeli forces received intelligence that a number of Palestinian suspects were inside the convoy.

The military said they stopped the vehicles to question the personnel inside the convoy, which the military says was being used to exchange UN workers.

Meanwhile, the White House says Hamas is making a ceasefire deal with Israel harder to reach.
