Wednesday January 24th. An Israeli official tells CNN no concrete deal between

Israel and Hamas has reached the negotiating table but

that indirect talks are ongoing. The official says proposals from parties

involved with the talks are expected to be discussed in an Israeli security cabinet meeting Thursday,

adding that recent reports that an agreement is close are incorrect,

and there is a long way to go before a deal is reached.

Meantime, the US Navy shot down two more missiles fired by Iran-backed Huthy rebels in the Gulf of

Aidan as Israel's war on Hamas continues to threaten to spill over to the broader Middle East.

As we look ahead to the South Carolina primaries, one conservative group is hoping to put a

wedge between President Joe Biden and black voters.
