Hunter Biden's gun case is officially over.

A U.S. district judge in Delaware said in an order this afternoon that, quote,

all proceedings in this case are hereby terminated.

The president's son was convicted on three federal felony gun charges after a June trial.

But he was pardoned by his father, President Joe Biden, on Sunday, which forgives the crimes and ends the case.

Hunter Biden's attorneys had asked the judge to formally dismiss the charges instead of simply terminating or shutting down future proceedings.
