July 31st fears of a wider war in the Middle East are growing after two top leaders in Iran-backed groups were killed in the past day.

Hamas that its political leader Ismail Hania was killed in an Israeli strike in Tehran.

As expected the Federal Reserve held rates steady today, but what markets were really watching for from the

Fed was any hints about a possible rate cut in September.
