There's a lot at stake tomorrow, including the safety of voters and election workers nationwide,

and authorities at every level are taking that seriously. The FBI has set up a 24-7 election

command post in Washington, D.C., to monitor and

respond to election-related threats in coordination with state, local, and federal partners.

Hundreds of National Guardsmen are on standby to help emergency services, according to a Pentagon

spokesperson. Polling places in several states are also beefing up security measures.

The executive director of North Carolina's Elections Board said some election offices have

installed panic buttons. Memory sticks from polling locations in Georgia will arrive at the

Fulton County Elections Hub with a police escort and officers will be in place there around the

clock. Madison, Wisconsin's police chief said he'll be in place there around the clock.
