He's also a singer/songwriter who has released four solo CDs and one with folk-rock quartet GIANTfingers and a wonderful new song, 'Fly,' which is inspirational, meaningful and which Dusty offers personal details about the song's origins.  Join us for a great show, tour de force, of a brilliant artist and friend.

Well, welcome to the show, everyone, and thanks for joining today. I think we have got a very special show for you. I have a close friend, a longtime friend, Dusty Wright, who many of you know, who is a singer, songwriter, author, someone who I would consider to be a pioneer in new media.

Interestingly enough, Dusty and I were born in the same year.

And so that bonds us, I think, forever Dusty too.

But I think what's always struck me is so powerful about your background is that you you came from this in world of

tradition what might be known as kind of traditional media you know traditional

worked with with prints and the new power generation and then made a real shift, a pivot, I guess,

running the culturecatch.com site, very influential site and one that was regarded very highly,

critically, influenced, I think, by a lot of Dusty's many varied artistic

in the traditional media space weren't really embracing new media.

I think, Dusty, what you found with Cultural Catch was that there was this kind of this
