And today, we are going to talk about anxiety.

This is one of my favorite topics to talk about because it actually is something I dealt with a ton as a kid and a teen, and I had no idea.

I didn't really even fully realize I dealt with anxiety until it came out more in college.

So I think it's something that is so good to be aware of and have tools for how to process it and deal with it.

So first of all, I think it's really important to understand what is anxiety.

And for me, symptoms of it are my thoughts and heart are racing.

I am worrying there's like this constant buzz in the background and overthinking everything

and wanting perfection. I'm wanting my grades to be perfect. I want other people to think

the best about me. So I'm trying to act perfect all the time. And certain situations or people

where I notice like it triggers me. And so what is interesting about anxiety is I think our brains

naturally have a fight or flight response when our brains detect a threat, something

that is scary to us that will trigger in our body this fight or flight response, which is,

oh, I better hurry and run away or I need to fight someone or something to protect myself.

And that is why a lot of times like your heart will race and, you know, you start thinking really
