Welcome to the Teen Life Coach podcast. This is Nicole your host, and today we are talking about graduation.

How's it going, guys? I hope y'all are having an amazing day. I just wanted to start

off with reading this really sweet review from Carolyn Connor. She said, I love listening to this

podcast. I also wish I had heard this in high school. I didn't go to school prom at all because I didn't feel comfortable going because I knew everyone was sneaking out in going to parties and alcohol, not my scene. I pushed it off, but deep down inside, it made me sad to not have that real prom experience. Luckily, I still went to a church prom,

but I loved how this podcast shows us how our experiences don't define us. We aren't worthless

because we weren't asked out or another girl was. We choose how we react to our prom experience as well as to our life in general.

McKell does a great job of putting things into a bigger, better perspective. I highly recommend

All right. So today we are going to be talking about graduation. Now this is a little bit on my mind because my little brother is actually graduating from high school this week. I'm sneaking out to go to go surprise him at his graduation. So he doesn't know I'm coming down to visit. So don't tell him. But I was just thinking a lot about my graduation and what an exciting and scary time it was.

It's so, there's so many opportunities out there and you kind of just feel like, you know,

the world's your oyster, but then it's also you kind of just feel like, you know, the world's

your oyster, but then it's also very intimidating because it's like, okay, what, you know, where do I

go next? What should I be choosing and wanting to start your life off on the right foot? And you're

not a kid anymore, which is a really weird transition.

So I just kind of want to tell you guys some things.

I think I would tell myself graduating from high school.

When I was graduating the year before I graduated, my family went and toured some different colleges and checked

out schools going to visit different schools I got so emotional I remember my family was it was like a

trip and I remember we were hanging out in the hotel and we all went down to the

hot tub and I was talking to my mom about what I thought about one of the schools and I just started

crying I was like I don't know what I'm going to do I don't know which one to pick I want to pick
