WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is on his way back to his home country, Australia.

According to court documents, he's agreed to a plea deal with the Justice Department, that means he'll avoid spending time in an American prison.

The prosecutors, we understand,

have called for a sentencing of five years in prison,

and that is about how long Assange has been in that London jail, so it's assumed he'll get

credit for that time served and will likely be released to Australia.

While the deal does still have to be approved by a federal judge,

WikiLeaks and Assange's supporters have been celebrating his release.

Gun violence in the US is an urgent public health crisis.

That's the warning from Surgeon General Dr Vivek Murphy this morning, and he's issued an advisory saying,
