President-elect Donald Trump has named Linda McMahon as his choice for education secretary.

She's a former pro- Wrestling executive, who's acted as Trump's transition co-chair,

and was the administrator for the Small Business Administration during his first term.

But McMahon could be tasked with abolishing the very department she's set to lead.

Ultimately, we want to close the Federal Department of Education, and we're going to do that. The department gives funding to nearly every public K-12 school in the country

and manages the $1.6 trillion federal student loan portfolio. Shutting it down would need the

support of Congress. Trump also announced that he's chosen Dr. Mehmet Oz to serve as the

administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, a key federal

agency that oversees health insurance coverage for more than 150 million Americans.

And we're still waiting to see who he'll pick as his Treasury Secretary.

The U.S. is closing its embassy in Ukraine's capital today because of a possible threat.
