It's a make-or-break week for some of President-elect Donald Trump's administration picks,

giving them a last chance to convince senators before they head home for the holidays.

His selection for defense secretary, Pete Hegeseth, continues to defend himself after news broke that a woman accused him

of sexual assault in 2017. It was settled privately, no charges were brought, and Hegseth denies the

allegation. Senator Lindsay Graham told NBC that Hegseth has promised to release the woman from a

confidentiality agreement.

Just think about what we're talking about.

I'd want to know if anybody nominated for a high-level job in Washington legitimately assaulted

somebody.

Hegseth joined Trump yesterday to watch the Army versus Navy football game, alongside other

Republican leaders, and another one of Trump's controversial

picks, Tulsi Gabbard. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wasn't there, though. He's also expected to meet

with senators this week to convince them he's the right man to lead the Health and Human Services

Department, despite his past skepticism of child vaccines.

More mysterious drone sightings are raising alarms.

They've mostly been spotted in the northeast, and over the weekend, officials in Ohio

closed airspace over one of the U.S.'s most critical Air Force bases for almost four hours because drones were spotted.

They've also been seen near other American military sites, both in the US and abroad, as well as
