wrongfully detained Americans have touched down on U.S. soil.

All five landed in Washington, D.C. this morning, after they were freed yesterday as part of a

wider U.S. Iran deal. That agreement included unfreezing $6 billion in Iranian funds that can only

be used for humanitarian causes, as well as the release of five Iranian nationals detained in the US. This brings to an end a

year's long nightmare for the group and it's the result of long and complex

negotiations between two countries that very rarely see eye to eye.

and sick activist in British Columbia. India has rejected those accusations and called them absurd.

In tit for tat moves, both countries say they've kicked out senior diplomats,

while Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has raised the issue with President Joe Biden.
