I often feel vindicated when a belief I hold is corroborated by somebody who actually knows what they're talking about.

As opposed to me being a lowly radio talk show.

So in other words, when I tell the mystery, I'm always fascinated that people come up with a corroboration.

So there was a wonderful validation of my lonely thoughts on climate change in the Wall Street Journal today.

Written by a guy named Stephen F. Hayward.

What is street cred?

And this is the part that I love about the street creds.

Mr. Hayward is a senior resident scholar.

The scholar at the Institute of governmental studies at the University of California, Berkeley.

Now we're talking.

This is above your, well, he does is a little bit above your pay grade.

Well, plus he's in a bastion of liberalism.

Right.

Climate change has run its course.

Climate change is over.

No, he's not saying that the climate will not change in the future because it always will.

Or that human influence on the climate is negligible.

He means to say that climate change is no longer a preeminent policy issue.

All that remains is boilerplate rhetoric from the political class, frivolous nuisance lawsuits, and bureaucratic mandates on behalf of special interest renewable energy rent seekers.

This guy did Berkeley euphorians, okay?
