I suppose you could go there to see this.

And I started reading.

Most of us cherish a dream of an ideal getaway.

Sailboats anchored off a white sand beach, a road trip down the Oregon coast, warm days

and cool nights beside a rippling northern lake.

Whatever the landscape, the feel of the dream is the same, a sense of abiding calm.

In the middle part of the 20th century, and pictures taken around the world, photographer

George Slim Aaron's crafted pictures steeped in that timeless sensibility.

Aaron's himself said that his pictures chronicled attractive people doing attractive things

in attractive places.
