Nicole lives in Connecticut with her husband and three young children.

Well, Nicole, thank you so much for joining me here today on the Pros of Press podcast.

You have struggled with our week's theme right now of infertility and miscarriage in your own life. Can you tell us your story and just a little

bit about that? Sure. I got married at a fairly young age. And my husband and I had planned to start a family eventually, but weren't in any rush to do that. And we were both at different points in our career and wanting to feel more settled

there. And my mom had never had any issues with fertility. And so, and because I was young and

healthy, I just didn't think that that would be a painful part of my story.

When I stood at the altar and said, for better or for worse,

I didn't think that that would be my brand of for better or for worse.

And so when I did get pregnant fairly quickly, It was surprising and obviously really painful when that first

pregnancy ended in miscarriage. And I waited the amount of time I was supposed to to try again
