I'm your host, Ashrida Chuchu, and today we're praying for a struggling marriage.

If you are in the midst of one, if you find yourself caught up in marriage difficulties or a spouse who's distant,

we're just trying to figure out how to survive

with your marriage intact, then I invite you to personalize this prayer for yourself. And if you're

not in the midst of a marriage crisis, then I invite you to pray for a friend, a family member,

someone in your church who you know is experiencing a marriage challenge right now in this season.

And then just text them a short note, let them know that you've been praying for them.

God calls us to pray for one another and to carry one another's burdens.

We get to do that here on the Pros of Rest podcast as well.

So as we begin, take a deep breath as we become aware of God's loving presence around us and within us.

Today's passage comes from Isaiah 6, verse 8.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,

Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?

And I said, here I am.

Send me.

Let's start by reciting God's goodness. Oh God, you are the fountain of life and the source of love and blessing. The whole universe is filled with your

goodness. You delight in communicating more of who you are,

of your heart of love and generosity and kindness to everyone who is prepared to receive you.

Everyone who has an open heart, everyone who has eyes to see. God, you promise

blessings to all those who surrender themselves to you. God, thank you that regardless of the

challenges in my marriage, your word is true.
