Thank you for joining me.

I started the Old Testament this year again,

and I hope it's a great opportunity for each of us to become more acquainted with, more familiar with, and more in love with

this Great Testament of Jesus Christ. Today we're talking about Moses 1 and Abraham 3,

and there are a lot of really wonderful parallels and connections between these two marvelous

chapters in the Pro of Great Price.

As I saw what the curriculum was for this lesson, I was, you know, just made to smile because I quote these chapters a lot.

So it was fun to reread them and see what I haven't thought about

for a while because parts of them I referred to a lot and I will get to those in a little bit.

I actually haven't done current events for a while, so I'm going to do some of those, but first,

let me invite you to tune in to or watch on social media, a project that kind of grew out of the podcast, which is really nice.

And I can't take credit for it because it's other wonderful women who have taken this idea and run with it.

I mentioned on the Christmas podcast that I love to sit in names of Christ.

And the year before, for Christmas, I had talked about some of the beautiful names of Christ.

You could spend a lifetime really delving in to names of Jesus and how they each

can help us have added insight and understanding and love for dimensions of our Savior. And each of them really can do that if we give them the time to

kind of percolate in our minds and in our souls. So I love doing that and have done that.

Basically, all my adult life tried to share that with my kids. And then I mentioned that my

daughter, Caitlin, had made these beautiful placards, these signs where it had some of her favorite names of Christ

that she wanted to use as an advent. And I had tried to do something like that, but anyway,

I didn't have the skills she had in terms of these signs that she does that are so beautiful. And
