0:22.2	comparing it to the full video and showing how
0:25.2	these doctored and edited videos are going viral very quickly.
0:30.4	I want to talk about the broader issue here which is no matter what I can do to
0:36.4	debunk a single video and show you how it's been deceptively edited and it doesn't
0:41.1	represent reality.
0:43.2	No matter how many times I do it or how quickly I can do it,
0:47.1	these videos are going viral so quickly
0:49.8	and on so many platforms that it's actually very difficult to keep up and there's a very good
0:55.4	article on MS NBC on on NBC.com rather from Alex cites wall, which talks about this.
1:03.5	And the article is called misleading Republican videos of Biden
1:06.7	are going viral.
1:08.0	The fact checks, fact checks have trouble keeping up.
1:12.3	One Democratic strategist said the lie is
1:14.5	sprinting the 100 meter dash and the fact check is taking a stroll on the beach
1:19.0	so it's never going to catch up and of course this is very similar to the
1:22.4	dynamic that exists with
1:23.7	correction some front-page newspaper story and then three days later a
1:28.4	correction at the back of section B way fewer people see the correction at the end of Section B than the number that see
1:35.8	the erroneous information on the front page story.
1:39.8	And this all really comes from desperation from the Republican Party.
