because my friend, Michaelin Smith, is such a boss lady and so wise and also kind to help all of us

with our homes in a way that doesn't feel overbearing or impossible. She just literally feels like

that accessible mentor that we've all wanted for our home. Her book,

Cozy Minimalist Home recently released, became a bestseller, to no surprise to me, and has been

helping us all so much just like what she shared with us on this episode of the show. So here is

what Mike Willand shared on her guest episode on its re-air today.

Michaelin is kind, down to earth, a great family woman, cook, just all the things. She always

makes me this fantastic iced coffee drink when I go to her house

in a mason jar with a fun straw. And usually there's a cat or two walking across the kitchen

counters. Mike Willen is an author and a home decorating expert, a style guru, but she never

feels stuffy or unreachable. And that's why people love her, and that's why she's my friend.

I've watched her transform her once old green barn into a now beautiful white masterpiece

with sweat equity in those walls. Listen, she's good people, guys, and her new book, Cozy Minimalist

Home is packed full of such down-to-earth brilliance. I'm telling you, as I was reading

through it, I thought, my friend is so smart. I've got to quit with this intro, but trust me, I could go on.
