parent along. Parenting is full of this choice or that, and so often we feel we need a psychology degree and the

audible voice of God to know what to do in a situation where it's kind of a gray area.

Some of you wanted to know, what things do I make deal breakers and what things do I let slide?

And I can't wait to talk about this, because I've dealt with it a lot myself and had that question too. So as always, the five minutes goes fast,

so let's get right into it. Five questions you can ask that will help you determine these

deal breakers in parenting. Number one, is it hurting their mind? This is a good question to ask

when considering allowing things into your home and for them to watch or places for them to go.

Most of us know that 20 hours in front of a video game wouldn't be good. That wouldn't be a good idea.

But what about two? Well, what kind of video game is it? Will they get, will they be killing someone for two straight hours?

And if so, do you think that's a good idea for them to think about that for 180 straight minutes?

I mean, we have to use some common sense in this parents.

Music, movies, and all of that, it's the same.

What we put in our mind stays with us often forever.

What do you want your kids thinking about?

And so a good question is,

is it hurting their mind? And really be honest about that. Number two, is it higher than a reasonable risk?
