Hi, and welcome to the Five Word Prayers Daily, a five-day-a-week daily devotional where we share the

0:05.9

word, prayers, in our heart. I'm Lisa Whittle, and I welcome you to just five minutes with me,

0:10.4

which I trust and pray will be five minutes well spent. Continuing on in our parenting month,

0:15.2

and in particular this week of the real-life, nitty-gritty, hard parenting stuff. Hard on the kids,

0:20.7

too, by the way. We're

0:21.6

talking dating and heartbreak today. Some of you single 20-somethings may also want to listen in

0:26.9

1:18.1

our kids grow up too quick. I'm not a fan. But I do understand that we have natural attractions

1:24.2

to each other, even at young ages, and there's nothing wrong with that.

1:27.7

I also think as kids get into upper high school and such, it's good to go out some with

1:33.2

each other to get a sense for what we want and what we don't want and in a mate later on,

1:37.9

if we end up getting married, discover what we're looking for, down the road, and get

1:42.6

a little bit of experience.
