I'm Lisa Whittle, and I welcome you to just five minutes with me, which I trust and pray will be five minutes well spent.

While we're talking parenting all month, and I asked you what you wanted me to cover, and goodness, we got a lot of amazing response.

I wish we had six months to cover this

topic because we could use all that time, but I'm trying to squeeze in as much as I can in the

days and quick five minutes as we can. I hope you'll find all the shows helpful on your parenting

journey and tell some other parents about it because I know they'd like to listen in. Up this week,

real life stuff, topics that you asked to talk about,

the nitty gritty scenarios, things we get into like friends and dating and heartbreak and bullying

and how we pick and choose our battles as moms. You guys are speaking my language with what you

want to discuss. So let's dive right in in just a minute.

So admittedly, this week is going to be more geared towards parenting, a little older kids, older elementary school on up.

And I know some of you other moms listening have babies and littler ones, but listen anyway, because there are some nuggets you'll still glean.

And also, you'll be here before you know it.

One thing I always say is it's always wise in parenting to learn one step ahead while staying present with your kids. I remember often feeling a little caught off guard, especially with my

first that, oh, I'm in this stage now and wishing I had prepared for it a little bit as much

as you can. I hope these

podcasts will help prep you younger moms for the stage up ahead, which again, if you didn't listen

last week, is my favorite mom stage ever. Really is. Parenting teens and young adults is my

absolute favorite. So be excited, not scared, but also be prepared because it takes work,

mostly of the mental kind. Friendships are something huge to our kids. Really, they begin to
