Hi, and welcome to the Five Word Prayers Daily, a five-day-a-week daily devotional where we share the word, prayers, and our heart.

I'm Lisa Whittle, and I welcome you to just five minutes with me, which I trust and pray will be five minutes well-spicked.

Today's show is going to feel to me like Friend Day around here because my dear friend, Jamie Ivy, is in the guest host seat.

Jamie is someone so many of you already know because some of you made your way here because of me being on her show, which is,

oh, a little show called The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivy. If you haven't listened to her great

podcast, you really should because she talks to not only a lot of amazing people, but she talks about a lot of important and fun things too.

I just love Jamie, a wife, mom, Texan, that's very important, you know, speaker and author of the very candid book, if you only knew.

She's coming on here today to do what she always does, which is talk openly

about life and story and moving forward in these places, and I'm so grateful she stopped by.

So welcome, my friend Jamie Ivy, to the show.

Remember at the end of high school when they announced the people who are most likely to, you fill in the blank,

they fill in the blanks with things like, most likely to succeed, most likely to stay single, most likely to become famous.

You get the point here. I never received any of those most likely two awards in high school,

but I can only imagine what I would have received that they'd given me one. You see, my identity in high school was pretty squeak and clean.

Sure, I did things I shouldn't have done, but nothing worse than any of my other friends

were doing.

It wasn't like I was leading the tribe and sneaking out and getting drunk.

I was just one of the many people doing it.

The nice church girl overachiever image was enough to counterbalance everything else.

So mine most likely would have consisted of supernormal things.

Most likely to get married early.

Most likely to become a teacher.
