I'm Lisa Whittle, and I welcome you to just five minutes with me, which I trust and pray will be five minutes well spent.

My guest today is Kelly Ballery, and I can tell you that she and I are clearly on some type of the same Holy Spirit wavelength, just based on the title

of her new book, Battle Ready.

Most of you know I just wrote a book called Put Your Warrior Boots on, and while the books

are not the same, certainly God often calls people to a similar message I've found, and I

love that about the kingdom.

We need different voices to put forth similar messages

because there's a big world out there, right?

Yeah.

Kelly is an author and a speaker and a wife and a mom

What do you do when rather than conquering your battles, you feel like your

battles are conquering your every emotion, when you feel worried, doubt-filled,

nervous, uncertain, afraid? I remember when my daughter Madison was about

eight months old, and I was holding her in my left arm. Meanwhile, with my right arm, I was trying

to grab this door that would not shut and trying to pull it closed. So I was holding Madison,

and I reached over, kind of bending down a little,

not knowing where her legs were going. I grabbed that door handle and I went, I just pulled that thing
