word, prayers, in our heart. I'm Lisa Whittle, and I welcome you to just five minutes with me,

which I trust and pray will be five minutes well spent. Last day of August, and we're ending it well

with a fun Friday five, five things to switch it up a bit from our usual week of inspiration and five word prayers.

You already know we've been focusing on joy this month, so I wanted to keep up with that theme and tell you five joy-bringing verses I'm loving right now.

Now listen, they're probably not even about joy.

They just bring me joy for one reason or another, and I'm about to tell you why.

You ready to hear some great joy-bringing, life-giving scripture? Yeah, me too. I so love the Word of God, and I love our Friday

five, so this goes really well together, I think. I'm always up to hear scriptures. People are

drawn to at the moment, so I can meditate on them as well. So I want to share my current five

favorites with you right now.

First of all, number one, I shared this one on social media not long ago.

And goodness, maybe even on the show.

I do so many.

It sometimes honestly runs together.

But I love it. And I'd love to share it again if I already have. Habakkuk 2.14. Here it is. For the time will come when all the earth will be filled as the

waters fill a sea with an awareness of the glory of the Lord. I love this verse so much, and it brings me joy because it reminds me that no matter what

it looks like, no matter what's going on in this world, that one day everyone will know

and be aware of God.
