Have you ever heard someone say this? There's not a sincere bone in her body, or something along those lines. I'll be honest, I don't like fake people. I know that's not a great

thing to admit, but it's true. I really struggle with someone I don't think I can be real with.

I never really know what I'm getting into, and I don't feel like I can let down and share my

real life with them. We talked about clean living on the show before, living with a clean

heart and conscience. And I think pure motives are also a part of that living on the show before living with a clean heart and conscience.

And I think pure motives are also a part of that living and the joy that comes with the heart of sincerity.

Let's get into more about that in just a minute.

So, okay, I don't think anyone is very drawn to an insincere person, right?

I mean, do any of us want to be around someone we don't find sincere?

If you're insincere, first of all, people don't trust you.

They won't trust you.

They will question everything you're saying.

And then second, if you're insincere or come off that way, people will decide you don't have character and will disqualify you from speaking into their life. Either way, that's sort of just a terrible way to live, I think, with people writing us off or backing away

from us. Paul talks about insincerity in Philippians 1, in terms of motives. He's following up
