Welcome back to another Friday five, and this Friday five will be a really fun one, I think, for the women. Full disclosure, it's a big departure from what we usually do on the show,

days. So did you know I used to be a makeup artist? Yeah, back in the seminary days, I had to find a way

to earn some money, so I actually had three jobs while I went to school, and one of them was a makeup artist for Klinique.

As a part of what they called back then, the Neiman's team, several of us who worked exclusively

for Neiman Marcus and did makeovers and such. It was so much fun. Anyway, it's been quite a while,

but I still have a few tricks at my sleeve, I think. You wouldn't believe how many people still

ask me makeup questions. So I thought this would be

the perfect place to just tell you a few quick tips as we get started into the summer.

So here we go with the Friday 5 this week, makeup tips from the good old clinic days. Number one,

dark lips or smoky eyes, but not both.

This is a tip I learned a long time ago, but it's always true.

Unless you're in a play on the stage, you really can't do both, or you'll look a little bit crazy.

Pick which feature you love the best, your eyes, or your smile, and play that one up.
