So this is day four in our mom series, and I hope you're gaining some richness from what we're talking about this week, mom or not.

But today we're talking secrets.

Yeah, you heard right.

Secrets.

We all have them, and moms are no different.

Think for just a minute about this. What secret or secrets are you holding in your heart and how

does this play into your function as a mom or does it? And while we're at it, what does God

think about secrets? It's kind of an interesting topic, I think. Let's explore it today.

So I wanted to do this show, which might seem kind of unusual at first during a mom week

emphasis, because here's what I know. We all have secrets, even those of us who are pretty open,

and we all feel a little conflicted about the secrets we keep, I think. Here are some of the

classic mom secrets we have. Sometimes I struggle to like my kids. That's a hard one, I think.

We love these kids. We would die for these kids, but sometimes we

struggle to like them, especially in the hard moments or with a particularly strong-willed or

difficult child. Here's another one. Sometimes I wish my life were different. We love being a mom.

We wouldn't trade it for the world, but sometimes we also wish we could do this other thing or this

thing over here.
