Hey, what would you think if I told you that I believe many of us don't mean to do the negative or wrong things we do, but instead suffer from something

I call the before we know it moments in life. You curious to know more about what that is?

Ooh. Ooh. When I speak, I often tell a very funny shopping story about a time I went to the mall intending on getting some clothes to speak in the Cayman Islands of all places and how I was trying to hide this reality

to my husband and what I wasn't intending on doing was spending the amount of money I spent.

For lack of time, I can't tell the whole story on here, but basically I kept having these

before I know it moments where I walked in and before I knew it, I was in this shopping coma, if you will,

you women know what I mean, where all my senses dulled except for my eyesight, which suddenly

got quite keen. I couldn't hear anything going on around me, but I could sure see the

beautiful clothes right in front of my eyes. And before I knew it, I was grabbing up cute things

after cute things. And before I knew it, I was grabbing up cute things after cute things. And before I knew it,

I was taking them all to the dressing room. And before I knew it, I was trying them all on. And

miracle of God, they were fitting me. And then before I knew it, I was taking them to the cash register

to check out. And before I knew it, the woman was ringing them up and telling me a total that was

crazy. And before I knew it, I was signing my name to a piece of paper with a total that I never

intended to spend when I walked into that dumb store to begin with. Women, you understand what I'm

saying, right? I think we get into a lot of before we know it moments in life. I really believe this is why

Jesus might have included this part in what we call the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6, that part that

says, and don't let us yield to temptation but rescue us from evil. Because being tempted is a real

part of life and falling into things.
