justice. This is something that Attorney General Bondi has talked about. He said in a statement

yesterday posted on X that my mission is director is clear, let good cops be cops and rebuild the

trust in the FBI, working alongside

the dedicated men and women of the Bureau and our partners. We will rebuild an FBI. The American

After the Southern California wildfires, L.A.'s fire chief, out of a job. Mayor Bass firing Chief Crowley effective immediately.

She'd put out a statement, which says in part, quote,

We know that 1,000 firefighters that could have been on duty the morning the fires broke out were instead sent home on Chief Crowley's watch.

Chief Crowley had previously said that Mayor Bass's slashing of

millions of dollars from the fire department budget would reduce the department's effectiveness

and ability to respond to wildfires. Mayor Bass on her end in recent days had been blaming

Chief Crowley for not warning her about the fire risk before she left for her trip to Africa.
