Today on the show, writer-comedian Abby Shackner talks about how she said goodbye to her father.

This time I was going to do it right.

My father was dying and I was going to say, you can let go now, like a normal person.

And I start to cry.

Like my lips trembling. Like to see him, like,

you know, he's aged, you know how that happens, he looks old. And he looks at me in a way

that he hasn't, like, seen me like that. He, like, he wants to comfort me and I want to comfort

him too, but we both are incapable of doing so. So instead of saying you can let go now, I said, Dad, hey, Dad, Joe got a blow job in a church.
