0:09.5	I just read today, Scott Adams has reported that he has the same kind of cancer, prostate,
0:24.7	serious, at least Scott says he's not going to make it probably past the summer and it spread to his bones. And I just wanted to, of course, express
0:33.5	my deepest condolences to Scott.
0:40.3	I actually have been quite an important influence in my life.
0:53.1	I got into Dilbert when I was a software entrepreneur and dealing with retarded boards and, you know,
0:59.0	fairly corrupt salespeople at times and, you know, the massive gap between marketing and tech, as I was both a chief technical officer and a director of marketing.
1:05.7	And his cynicism, his humor, stuff has literally burned into my brain bits from the old
1:16.2	Dilbert comics that they nestle and breed in my brain. One of Dilbert's presentations, which
1:24.7	went wrong, and he said, and in in conclusion I hate you all which kind of
1:27.9	burnt it to oven in my brain. Wally's well why would I wash my towels when I come out of the shower
1:33.7	I'm the cleanest thing in the house a towel supposed to bend just absolutely hilarious warm-hearted
1:40.7	brilliant brilliant stuff.
1:44.8	And one of my fun memories with my brother was we were on a business flight
1:51.2	and reading Scott Adams, the Dilbert principal,
1:54.6	and just laughing hysterically at what he wrote.
1:58.6	He is an absolute, a genius and brave. There was a CEO who
2:06.9	invited him to come in and pretend to be a business consultant, and he got a bunch of executives
2:12.2	to agree to a business statement that made absolutely no sense, and Scott Adams put on a wig
2:17.3	and a false mustache to make this happen sense and Scott Adams put on a wig and a false
2:17.8	mustache to make this happen. And that's, that's gumption, man. That's pretty wild. That's commitment.
