Summary

When it comes to social media, it can be an incredibly powerful tool or a drain on your time and your energy.

So how can you make social media work for your business and avoid falling down the rabbit hole of your newsfeed?

By joining us for BizChix LinkedIn Bingo!

I introduced this to our $ix Figures Lab members at the beginning of the month, and I’m delighted to share it with you today.

We’ve made networking on social media a fun, easy, low-risk, high-value activity with tasks that can each be completed in a matter of minutes.

If you’ve never played Bingo the “rules” are simple.

Complete tasks until you fill in a line (diagonally, horizontally or vertically) or reach BINGO by getting a Blackout and completing all the squares on the card.

Welcome, Elizabeth.

Hi, Natalie.

Tell us about what you have in store for us today.

0:19.2

Well, I hear a lot from clients that they know their

0:26.2

ideal client is on LinkedIn. They know potential referral partners are on LinkedIn. They know that

0:34.3

that is a place they should be, but they feel baffled about what to do there and often

0:38.9

overwhelmed. And so I'm calling this, what should I post on LinkedIn? But maybe we need to change it

0:44.9

to what should I do on LinkedIn. In fact, I think I will, as we're talking this through,

0:49.7

probably change the title of this episode. But it's basically, if you go to LinkedIn and you just kind of go,

0:55.9

I don't know what to do here, or you find yourself down rabbit holes that don't feel productive,

1:01.1

and then it keeps you from going back, this episode will be very helpful. And I encourage everyone

1:08.9

listening to find our LinkedIn post for this episode because we have a special

1:13.0

surprise for this post, which we'll talk about as we move through this episode. Well, you know, Natalie,

1:17.3

I think you just, in your own self-edit, just shared like a really key valuable takeaway that

1:23.4

your LinkedIn strategy is not as much about what you're posting as much as about what you're doing

1:30.0

because if you think of it as just broadcasting and dumping what you do and not interacting,

1:37.8

that's not going to be the best strategy. Do you want to talk a little bit more about that piece of it?

1:43.3

Yes, I think that it can feel very intimidating to share your thought leadership, so to speak.

1:49.0

And I do think that is an important piece of LinkedIn, especially if you are wanting to show up with your network as a subject matter expert.
