0:11.6	universal human value. My view is that a human's value is on a grade scale in an almost
0:17.6	infinite number of situations related to the specific person.
0:22.6	Their view was of the value.
0:24.7	Value is part of our existence.
0:27.3	We are human there by we are valuable.
0:29.1	Does being human mean that we are valuable?
0:35.4	Well, of course, this, as usual, depends on what your definition of value is.
0:43.3	Value is one of these words that has many different applications, of course, right?
0:48.8	So some of the more obvious ones could be what you value.
0:52.4	You value certain things, other people value other things.
0:53.5	Could be material things.
0:54.4	Could be virtues. Could be your child, you know, if someone else's child is in danger and my child is
1:01.3	in danger, I would save my child first because my child has more value to me, but the other
1:06.0	parent is going to save their child first because their child has more value to them, and so on.
1:10.4	So there are values that you value for yourself.
1:13.8	There are values which exist independent of you,
1:16.8	such as if you want to find out the truth about the universe,
1:20.5	you have to use a scientific method.
1:22.6	So the truth of the universe requires that you hold the scientific method as a value
1:29.9	and so on. If you are religious, of course, then God values you and your virtues and so on,
