I know you'll remember this, Luke.

About 15 years ago now, it's crazy how long it's been.

We were both at what I think was the first Toronto screening of Berdemic Shock and Terror,

which is, if you don't know it, it's one of those, like, classics so bad it's good

sort of movies.

If you've seen the room, it's kind of like that, except that it's a sort of, you know,

disaster movie with a, I don't know, something of an ecological subtext, you might say.

Very heavily derivative of Hitchcock's The Birds, I think it's fair to say, down to most details.

And very low budget, bad special effects, very funny to watch.

And the director was there, a guy named James Noghuyen, an outsider to the entertainment industry.

I think he worked in software, I want to say, and he made several films, one or two of which had tippy hedron from the birds.

And in fact, in the credits for Bredemic Shock and Terror, it says, and Tippy Hedron.

And she's not actually in the movie, but there's a scene where there's a TV showing a scene from one of his earlier movies that she is in.

James Noghian was there.

And when the movie was playing, like it was pandemonium.

It was awesome.

Everything was funny.

And I remember there was at one point when I just like popped out to go to the bathroom and going through the lobby.

I saw James Noghion like pacing around.

Oh, he couldn't he couldn't stomach staying in the

theater and I thought oh shit. He hears everything and then when the movie ended James

Naguian came back for his Q&A and the guy the moderator started it I think quite well. He said
