0:46.0	based upon the culture of the time in Jesus' day, that are interesting, but not, I think,

0:57.8	other admonitions of Jesus, which is, if someone sues you for your shirt, give him your cloak
1:05.9	as well, and you could pawn your cloak back in the day, but it had to be returned by sundown,
1:11.5	because otherwise you'd be cold, and of course, if you give up your shirt and your cloak,
1:15.0	then you are somewhat naked from the waist up, which would be considered very humiliating.
1:21.1	So there's that. If an enemy asks you to walk a mile with him, walk two miles with him,
1:25.8	so back of the day of Jesus, of course,
1:27.8	one of the ways in which Jews and others were humiliated or controlled was a soldier could order
1:32.9	you to carry a burden for up to a mile, which was a thousand paces back of the Roman day.
