I gotta tell you there's a thunderstorm that just ripped through the area, and I think we're

0:04.6

in the clear, but if we interrupt the show, uh, because I need to go, you know, start a generator

0:09.5

or something, uh, then my apologies, but it should be fine. I think we're through the thick of it.

0:13.5

That sounds really hardcore. I'm got to go start my generator, everybody. Well, the thing of it is is that I think I've told this story somewhere, but my parents live only 45

0:22.2

minutes west of me, but their area loses power regularly, and they got this like obscenely

0:28.5

expensive, ridiculous Honda inverter generator that weighs 85,000 pounds. And well, then they

0:35.3

ended up getting a generac or whatever, whole home generator. And they here you can borrow this forever so i've had or we have had this ridiculously

0:43.7

nice uh honda generator in our garage for probably five-ish years now and i believe i've used it

0:49.9

once for about 30 35 minutes and that's it because around the time that they, not bequeathed,

0:55.5

but bequeathed us to the generator, that's when the power company cut down a bunch of

0:59.5

trees that were near the lines leading into the neighborhood, because the lines outside

1:03.3

the neighborhood are lines, or above ground lines, and the stuff inside the neighborhood is

1:08.4

underground. So, well, the, the law of, you know, large equipment that you buy for yourself for some kind of, you know, special conditions is that the moment you, first of all, the moment you buy it, that condition will probably never happen again.

1:22.3

But certainly if that condition happens, you will need it for the briefest of time.

1:26.5

So the moment you start your generator,

1:28.1

the power will come back on. Correct. Assuming you can get it started after it's been sitting in your

1:31.8

house for seven years without ever being started. Well, right. In that case, if you can't get it

1:35.8

started, the power will stay up for three days. But yeah, I don't know. It hopefully will not be an

1:40.0

issue. But if suddenly I disappear or get very, very quiet, it's not because I'm sleepy, even though I am. It's because we lost power. So hopefully not.

1:47.8

We know you're dying to use it. You have this big thing. You're like, I just hope we lose

1:51.0

power so I get to run out and use the big generator. Oh, yeah. I would very much like to use

1:54.8

a generator. I would rather not do it under duress during a podcast. That I'm not as keen on. He's not a recreational generator use. Exactly. We have to remind you that the ATP store is
