Hello and welcome to another edition and a joint edition of Mormon Transitions podcast and Mormon Stories podcast.

I'm your host John DeLin. It is November 4, 2015.

If you're listening through Mormon Stories, this is going to be part two of an interview with Steve and Chris Holbrook.

We just spent an hour and a half talking to them about their journey as Mormons and then leaving the church

and then raising kids with variations within their family of who did what within the church

and how they left Mormonism for probably 15 or 20 years and then how they reconnected in Utah County with John Larson Mormon Expression

and eventually the Utah Valley Post-Mormon Group.

That is a Mormon Story style interview of their story and it's really good.

Steve and Chris are super delightful.

Now we're going to be having part two of this interview which is going to be a new format aligned with the Mormon Transitions project.

For those of you who don't know, Mormon Transitions is slightly different from Mormon Stories because Mormon Stories is a long format of stories.

Mormon Transitions is a new podcast that we're rolling out that tries to provide practical information for people who are transitioning away from Mormon Orthodoxy either towards progressive, liberal Mormonism or completely out of Mormonism.

So we're going to be talking about identity, spirituality, community, family, you know, how to deal in communications with others.

It's going to be an extensive library of interviews and online materials.

There's a blog at MormonTransitions.org where we're blogging. It's a really great group of bloggers.

All sorts of really cool things in the works we've been holding retreats now.

The retreats have been super successful.

So we're super excited about Mormon Transitions and the second part of the interview at the whole Brooks is going to be focused on what I consider to be one of the top.
