Welcome back everybody to The Incomparable.

I'm your host, Jason Snell, and our book club has reconvened in the second of three episodes

where we're going to talk about the shortlisted fiction, science fiction and fantasy,

for the most part, from the Hugo and Nebula Awards. They can really nominate whatever they want,

and we'll talk about it. It could be something not science fiction and fantasy at all,

and we could debate it and, you know, all of that, but these all probably qualify,

unless my panelists say otherwise.

I think these are just some of my favorite episodes to be on. And I've been reading so much lately. I'm just like, books, books, books, books. So I'm juiced to talk about all this.

That could be the title of this episode for all we know. Books, books, books.

Although that was four and we're only talking about three books, Erica. So it's really more like books, books, books.

But you always ask us later if we're reading anything. Ah, that would be the fourth books.
