0:20.2	Welcome back day four in John chapter 10. We're going to pick it up in verse 14. Jesus
0:24.6	says, I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me. Just as the father knows me and I know
0:32.0	the father, I lay down my life of the sheep and I have other sheep that are not of this fold. Let me stop for one second.
0:38.8	I love this so much. Jesus said this 2,000 years ago to a group of his followers that were
0:45.0	with him in Israel. And he is talking about you and me. Now, we're not the only ones he's talking
0:51.9	about, but we are included in these other sheep that are not of this fold.
0:56.5	I want you to know that before Jesus ever goes to the cross, before Jesus has ever resurrected from the grave, that he had in mind that one day he would send out his followers that would start the ecclesea, the movement, the church, that would take the gospel to the very ends of the earth so that
1:11.0	God could call unto himself his children. This is who he's talking about. And I have other sheep that
1:17.2	are not of this fold. I must bring them also and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one
1:24.7	flock and one shepherd. Let me ask you this question. How do you know the voice of God?
1:29.2	Because Jesus says that his sheep recognize his voice and that we listen to him. Earlier in verse five,
1:37.1	he says, a stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of
1:42.6	strangers. So let me ask you, which voice are you listening to?
1:47.0	You see, the reality is that we live in a world that spends billions of dollars a day
1:51.1	to try to amplify the voice of the thief who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy.
1:56.9	We live in a world that tries to tell you that it's all about you, that you just do you.
2:01.6	We live in a world that says if you buy this stuff, it will satisfy.
2:04.9	We live in a world that says you have your own truth, that you are the arbiter of truth,
2:09.1	that you stand in authority over God and everybody else, and you decide what's right and wrong.
