Today I want to talk about a bit of an unusual food intolerance

but one that often goes hidden.

And it's not super common in the general population,

but it is more common in the general population but it is more common in the women and

the women who bring their kids to come see me largely because the types of symptoms

that it causes pretty much go under-notist or undetected or undiagnosed by conventional

docs.

So a lot of the people that come to see me or contact me by email or on my Facebook page, et, are those women and the moms with kids who are

struggling with unusual symptoms that sort of end up causing them to fall

through the cracks. So if you've heard of antihistamines, which are

medications used to control allergic reactions and allergy symptoms, you're already

on the way to having heard of histamines, But you probably haven't heard of histamine

intolerance unless you've been struggling with some weird symptoms and it came across

your awareness that there is this problem called histamine intolerance.

I actually didn't know about it even after medical school

until I learned about it from a mom of a new patient that had come to me about five or so years ago and now I regularly

treat patients with these problems because I recognize it, first of all, and it's amazing

how dramatic the improvements can be if you are suffering with the symptoms.
