Hello and welcome to another episode of page 94.

My name is Andrew Hunter Murray, and this time we have a festive bumper crop of stories for you.

First of all, we'll be talking to the I's medical

correspondent Dr Phil Hammond aka MD about the latest vaccine news and his

reaction to it. We'll be talking to Richard Brooks and Solomon Hughes about the

story of procurement and outsourcing throughout the pandemic. The government has been

getting hold of a lot of kit and it's also been giving jobs to a lot of its

mates.

Then we'll be talking to Sarah Shannon about salmon,

the mysterious story lurking around the waters

off the coast of Scotland

and occasionally breaking out of it.

Finally we will be saying goodbye to one of the eyes oldest and greatest friends,

the late great John Sessions. But first and yet again, coronavirus, the last time we recorded an

episode of this podcast, there were no vaccines confirmed to work. This time we

are recording it, there are at least three and there are more still on the way.

So at the end of that remarkable month of good news I sat down with Phil Hammond via Zoom of course

and asked him what his take was on the latest vaccine developments.
