Summary

In Moses Lake, a man took his girlfriend hostage at a cheap motel. He had contact with a third party, and threatened to harm her and himself. The police were having a fine night of minding their own business when they got invited to this madness by a 911 call. 37-year-old Zachary Allen Stockton was barricaded inside. Police begin to negotiate a peaceable surrender to preserve the lives of all involved. Time for talking quickly ended when Stockton came outside dual wielding a pair of cop droppers, and opened fire. The boys in blue were better shots, and Stockton was incapacitated and taken from the scene, first to a doctor, and now to a lawyer since he'll need a good defense for this ridiculous incident.
