If anyone has ever seen the wild and wonderful whites of West Virginia before, this is the

exact area where this event occurred.

I literally had to drive by their house on the way.

Hank Williams III also wrote a song about it called Boone County Blues which really

captures the essence of the depressing drug consumed area.

I worked as a lab technician for an independent company.

I would run an analysis on coal samples to determine the quality.

Ash, solfers, whatever, things of that nature.

Part of the job was driving company pickup trucks to various coal mines, train loadouts,

and river docks to draft barges and collect samples.

We got a call at around 2 a.m. to go pick up a training sample over an incredibly remote

area on the middle of nowhere.
