But if we're going to overcome our own self-limiting perceptions, we need a faith perspective.

We need the word of God in our hearts. We need to know the voice of the spirit of God. We need to understand when we hear

Goliath Bellow is challenge that he can be defeated. We need to be open to God's possibilities,

willing to act as if God has told us the truth.

We've been content to be religious and

church and polite and tame, and we've acted like the real opportunities

in life lie in the corporate world or academia or technology. I'm not opposed to any of those

things but they're all a pale imitation of the power of a living God.

I'm going to try to wrap up. We've been doing a little short series under the general theme of

One Nation under God. I borrowed the phrase,

One Nation under God indivisible with liberty. You have heard of that.

The only way that our nation can flourish is to remember that we're a nation under God.

That's the truth. If we imagine we're a nation under a political party or a political leader,

I'm not opposed to those things, they're a part of our process,

but the form of government we have is a

representative form which means Washington DC is like looking at a mirror.
