Summary

“I want to ask you to live with a heightened awareness that a sovereign God has something to say to you and me,” Pastor Allen Jackson says. “That He isn’t removed. That He has an opinion, that He cares, that He is interested. That if we will accept it, He will be directional. That the almighty, the omnipotent, omniscient Creator of heaven and earth has something to say to you and me.” Teaching from the story of Gideon, Pastor Jackson says that like Gideon, we may feel that we are insignificant people from insignificant families. But God in His sovereignty has a plan and a purpose for each of our lives. When we recognize that the condition of our heart is what matters most and submit to His loving discipline, we will grow in Him and learn to trust Him with the future.
