| 0:00.0 | Hey everyone. Welcome to another episode of Monday Meditations. I pray that you had an amazing weekend, |
| 0:07.1 | some time to just breathe deep, refocus your spirit, and just really realign your heart with the truth of God's word. |
| 0:13.7 | I'm so, so glad that you're here today. So I really want to prepare our hearts and start the week off right by focusing and praying and meditating |
| 0:22.1 | on the phrase a temple worth tending. There comes a moment quiet and piercing. When you look around |
| 0:30.4 | your life and you realize the walls have totally crumbled. Not always physically, not always visibly, |
| 0:36.7 | but internally you feel it. You feel it |
| 0:39.2 | spiritually, you feel it emotionally. And you realize that the structure has weakened. What once was |
| 0:44.6 | intentional has now become accidental and what once was ordered has almost turned to clutter. |
| 0:52.6 | And beneath the surface of your daily routine, |
| 0:55.4 | there's this silent ache that's whispering, |
| 0:59.0 | I wasn't made to live like this. |
| 1:02.6 | And we can even call that ache what it is, |
| 1:04.8 | a holy invitation. |
| 1:06.6 | Might not feel that way, but it is. |
| 1:09.2 | An invitation to rebuild, to reorder, to restore. |
| 1:12.3 | Not just your home, not your calendar, not even your habits, for that matter. |
| 1:16.4 | But your very soul, your body, your interior life, because God has never called you to inhabit ruins. |
| 1:23.8 | He called you to be a temple. |
| 1:26.8 | When scripture paints the picture of a city with broken down walls, it's more than an ancient metaphor. |
| 1:31.3 | Walls in biblical times were protection, identity, honor, but a city without walls wasn't just vulnerable. |
| 1:39.3 | It was humiliated, just as Nehemiah wept over Jerusalem's broken walls and then rose to rebuild them with grit and vision, you too can rebuild. It's not too late. Not in your own strength, but in the power of the one who makes all things new. Start where you are. Don't put a ton of pressure on yourself, but just start where you are. |
| 2:01.5 | Not with grand unsustainable overhauls. You don't have to go crazy, but just start with one drawer. |
