Summary
There are moments in our walk with God when the light seems to fade. We stumble, not because the presence of God has left us, but because something has come between us and the Light.
In this week’s Monday Meditations, we explore the quiet eclipse — the subtle ways fear, shame, and failure drift between our hearts and the face of Christ. Like Peter in the courtyard or David on the rooftop, we sometimes forget the light we’ve seen in times when shadows fall.
But the light has not gone out. It is only hidden for a moment — and even there, God is praying, restoring, and calling us back.
If you’ve felt distant, overwhelmed, or unworthy — this episode is for you. Let’s rediscover the true Light that never stops shining, even in the valley of shadow.
We hope that you enjoy this episode.
God bless you and Go Rise Up!

| 0:00.0 | Hey everyone, welcome to another episode of Monday Meditations. I want these meditations to really just |
| 0:08.3 | be your weekly moment to breathe deep, to refocus your spirit and re-align your heart with the |
| 0:14.8 | truth of God's word. So I'm so glad you're here today. I'm really excited about this episode. |
| 0:19.5 | So let's settle in, prepare our hearts, |
| 0:22.2 | because to start the week off right, the phrase we're going to be meditating on is when |
| 0:26.7 | darkness tries to claim you. Have you ever had a moment where everything just went dim? Not physically, |
| 0:37.0 | but spiritually. |
| 0:38.6 | Like, you knew God was still there, |
| 0:41.5 | but you just couldn't feel his presence. |
| 0:44.1 | And maybe it came after a major failure, |
| 0:46.5 | a harsh word that someone said to you, |
| 0:48.6 | maybe a broken promise by someone who's very close to you, |
| 0:51.8 | or maybe even a season of spiritual silence. |
| 0:55.5 | That dark feeling, like the sun has vanished, that feeling, it's not the absence of God. |
| 1:02.4 | It's the presence of something else that's standing in the way. |
| 1:05.6 | Because there's a spiritual reality at play here, especially when we feel that darkness. |
| 1:10.1 | And scripture hints at it time and time again. |
| 1:12.7 | The enemy of your soul is constantly working to block the light, to cloud your view of God, |
| 1:19.3 | and to make you believe you're too far gone or that God has left your side. |
| 1:23.7 | It's not always overt. Sometimes it looks like shame. Sometimes it looks like distraction. And even sometimes it's a deep sense of where you feel like you're just not measuring up. No matter how hard you try, you just keep falling short. But in all honesty, and you completely understand what I'm saying here, there's a cosmic battle constantly unfolding |
| 1:46.8 | behind the veil of your everyday life. And the target is your faith. What you're walking through |
| 1:52.8 | right now, it's not random, it's not meaningless, it's war. There is an enemy of your soul |
