Summary

In this episode, I talk about a pattern I use in my life consistently. It’s for those seasons when I’m trying to hear from God for something. I don't know about you, but there are seasons where I'm just waiting on God to answer me. There are things in life that you have to let happen. Often we have to give things time to work themselves out. Sometimes things come through time. I want to encourage you with Psalms 25:5: “Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; For you, I wait all the day long.” I love that thought that He is leading us into truth, He’s teaching us, He’s the God who will save us, but sometimes we will have to wait all the day long! God wants you to realize that this is part of the process and we can’t rush the hand and the voice of God; we can only be available for it when it comes. So whatever season you are in, have you given it some time? Have you sat with it? Are you continuing with your daily life? And are you available when God wants to give it to you? For me, God will often speak to me in those moments where I’m sitting still, coming out of rest. The Holy Spirit will whisper to my heart and reveal His thoughts to me. It allows me to be dependant on Him. Don’t keep looking at the problem because I believe if you want God’s will you will get God’s will! It just may take some time.

0:38.9	So sit back for a few minutes and let's talk about process.
0:42.7	Let's talk about seasons in our life when we're trying to hear from God for something.
0:49.2	I don't know about you but I have been in that season before and what I've learned is
0:54.8	well I guess I'll tell you in a way of a story.
1:01.2	So a couple nights ago we decided we would take a walk as a family and what I mean by family
1:08.4	is that our boys are at Gramm and Grandpa's for the week and so we have our dog there.
1:14.8	There is our fur baby and he believes he is the only child in this house and now that
1:21.3	his brothers are gone he has permission to dominate our lives.
1:25.5	Does anybody else have a fur baby in their house and you know what I'm talking about?
1:29.5	So bear is relentless like most of our animals that want to go for a walk.
1:34.5	They sit at our feet all day until we finally grant them their one wish which is to take
1:40.0	them for a walk.
1:41.7	So we decided late at night we would do it and Ben and I grabbed the leash and began
1:48.0	to walk down our street.
1:50.8	Well there is this golf course that's down where we live and you're not really supposed
1:57.2	to walk in the path while it's open but sometimes we'll sneak down there.
